Claudia Teran Exits FOX after 20 Years
Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer Nicholas Trutanich Assumes Litigation Portfolio
Los Angeles, CA – September 8, 2021 – Fox Corporation (Nasdaq: FOXA, FOX) today announced the promotion of Elizabeth Casey to Deputy General Counsel of Fox Corporation and General Counsel of FOX Sports following the departure of Claudia Teran, who is stepping down as FOX Corporate General Counsel and FOX Sports General Counsel. Casey, who previously served as Executive Vice President and Associate General Counsel, will continue to lead the Standards & Practices and Ad Sales Legal departments and report to FOX General Counsel Jeff Taylor. She begins her new roles on September 15.
FOX Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer Nicholas Trutanich will assume management of litigation matters, adding the title of Executive Vice President of Litigation. In this new role, he will continue to report to Taylor.

Casey joined FOX in 1999 as Vice President of Litigation, overseeing litigation matters for various FOX companies, including Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Century Fox Television. Earlier, she was a partner in the law firm of Troop Meisinger Steuber & Pasich, representing major financial institutions and entertainment studios in complex civil litigation.
Casey earned her law degree from the George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and political science from Claremont McKenna College. Casey is active in the community, including serving as a Trustee for Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles.
Trutanich joined FOX in March as Executive Vice President and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. He previously served as United States Attorney for the District of Nevada, First Assistant Attorney General of Nevada, and an Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California. He was a law clerk to the Honorable Manuel L. Real, U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Trutanich holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science degree in managerial economics from the University of California, Davis.
